Services

You are here:

Strategic Guidance. Real Relationships. Advocacy That Moves.

Most clients come to us with one of two things. An issue already in front of government, or a decision coming that they want to shape before it arrives.

The four services below are how we work on both. Most engagements combine several of them rather than buying one off the shelf, scoped to what the issue actually requires.

Government Relations

We work with businesses and organizations whose plans depend on a decision by state or local government. That means identifying who actually decides and who influences them, tracking the issues and proceedings that affect you, and preparing your leadership for the meetings, hearings and conversations that matter. Our guidance comes from having been inside those rooms, not just in front of them.

Advocacy & Issue Campaigns

When an issue needs more than a meeting, we build the campaign around it. Our work includes advocacy strategy, coalition development, grassroots and grasstops engagement, letters of support, testimony, public comment programs and the communications that carry them. Every campaign is built backward from a specific decision and the calendar it sits on.

Stakeholder Engagement

We help organizations build and keep relationships with the people whose support they will eventually need: community leaders, civic organizations, neighborhood groups, business associations and local institutions. That happens through briefings, community meetings, partnership development and direct outreach. This work is most valuable before there is a problem, which is also when it is easiest to do.

Strategic Communications

We develop the messaging and public relations that carry an advocacy or government relations effort. That includes message development, media relations, earned media, spokesperson preparation, and crisis and issue communications. The test of a message is whether it holds up once an issue gets contested, which is usually the moment it matters.

When Strategy Needs Execution

Engagements include execution. An event that gets the right forty people in a room, a communications push behind a campaign, the materials and production that carry a message.

Events, communications and production support are handled as part of the work, with trusted specialists brought in where a project calls for them, so the delivery matches the strategy behind it.
